About Dayton, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Dayton is a large city positioned in southeastern Ohio. It is positioned in Montgomery County, serves as the county seat, and is the largest city therein. As of 1016, there were approximately 140,489 people living in Dayton according to the United States Census Bureau. It is the 6th largest city in Ohio.

In 1796, Dayton was surveyed and platted by Israel Ludlow. There were more than 40 log cabins and frame houses built in Dayton by the end of that same year. After Ohio became a state in 1803, Dayton was designated as the county seat for Montgomery County. Until the War of 1812, the population of the city remained small. During the war, the city grew significantly because it served as a mobilization point for American attacks on Canada against the British troops stationed in the area. By the 20th century, Dayton was a thriving city and shared in the great economic prosperity of the 1920s. Like many cities across the United States, Dayton experienced hardship during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Today, Dayton is a thriving city and one of the most recognized cities in Ohio. In 1995, it was the site of Dayton Peace Accords. Individuals and families are provided with an excellent quality of life and businesses are welcome. Truly, Dayton is the Gem City.

Dayton is located in a climate that experiences very cool winters and warm summers. Throughout the months of December, January, and February, daytime temperature highs vary from the low to upper-30s on average. At night, temperatures dip well below freezing. Also, snowfall is common throughout these months. Throughout the summer months, daytime temperature highs average in the mid-80s but can climb to the 90s when heat waves pass through the city. Residents find it necessary to have both heating and cooling systems installed in their homes. These systems protect residents and their homes from potential damages caused by extreme temperatures.
